Jennifer Cinque, Principle

A seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of diversified experience in both the academia and corporate industries, Jennifer has led the University of New Haven's human resources function, serving as CHRO on the university's cabinet and consultant partner to university leaders, and has functioned as the school's Title IX Coordinator.

Jennifer also held the role of Director, Organizational Effectiveness and Staff Development for Yale University, overseeing organizational development, talent management and Yale’s Learning Center. Most recently, she led a team responsible for a new performance management feedback program, redesigned the university's management and professional development training curriculum for effective online delivery in the wake of the pandemic, and led efforts to build an integrated talent management system inclusive of contemporary succession planning tools. Prior to that role, Jennifer directed Yale’s vast recruitment and hiring organization, leading optimization efforts to realign resources, processes, and technology to reduce time to fill, improve candidate quality, increase diversity planning and hiring efforts, and enhance compliance standards.

Jennifer’s corporate experience was primarily spent at United States Surgical Corporation/Tyco Healthcare (now Medtronic), where she directed a global HR business partner team and talent acquisition activities. Through her work experience and history, Jennifer has assisted leaders align strategy and their organizational structure to engaged their people, their systems, and advance their culture to increase morale, while enhancing performance along with both team and individual satisfaction. Jennifer has led departments and project teams in delivering exceptional results by establishing a superior service philosophy and champions a human resources culture that values collaboration, cooperation, communication, and excellence.
